"Learning" Test Review

-What is Classical Conditioning (UCS, UCR, NS, CS, CR)

-What is Operant Conditioning (acquisition, extinction, spontaneous recovery, generalization, discrimination, shaping)

-Reinforcement
Positive: Adding something = behavior increasing
Negative: Taking away something aversive = behavior increasing

-Punishment
Positive: Adding something = behavior decreasing
Negative: Taking way something = behavior decreasing

-Schedules of reinforcement (continuous vs partial)
fixed interval (3 min, 3 min, 3 min)
fixed ration (1:3, 1:3, 1:3)
variable interval (4 min, 2 min, 9 min, 1 min)
variable ration (1:5, 1:9, 1:1)

Ivan Pavlov:
BF Skinner:
John B. Watson:

Operant and classical conditioning ignore cognitive processes
